This page explains what Hybrid5 Hosting collects on this website and in our client area, and why. The short version: this site runs no ads and no tracking scripts, and we only use your account details to run your hosting.
This website
The pages on hybrid5hosting.com have no sign-up forms, no advertising and no analytics or tracking scripts of our own.
- Server logs: like every web server, ours records standard request data (IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time) for security and troubleshooting.
- Cloudflare: provides our DNS, content delivery and security. It sees the same standard request data when your browser connects, and it may set a cookie to tell people from bots.
Our client area
When you order, pay an invoice or open a support ticket in our client area, you give us your name, contact details, billing address and the details of your request. We use them to set up and run your hosting, send invoices and receipts, and answer support requests.
- The client area runs on our own server, not a third-party service.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe. PayPal payments are handled by PayPal.
- The client area uses cookies to keep you signed in and remember your cart.
Your website's data
The files, databases and email on your hosting account belong to you. We access them only to run, back up, migrate or repair your account, or when you ask us to.
Your choices
Email sales@hybrid5hosting.com to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Some records, such as invoices, may need to be kept for tax and accounting purposes.
